titleOfInvention | Method for manufacturing washing and detergent particulates |
abstract | The invention relates to washing and detergent particulates and to several substances or starting materials treated for the preparation of these particulates. The invention provides for the manufacturing of washing and detergent agents of the type undergoing improved disintegration when they dissolve in an aqueous bath, even when they have a reduced surface area, especially a spherical form (e.g. pearls). The invention also provides an economical production method requiring no costly drying steps. According to the invention, these washing and detergent particulates and the substances or starting materials treated for their preparation must have an apparent density greater than 600 g/l. Moreover, these washing and detergent compounds must be produced by combination of washing and detergent mixtures and/or starting materials and must be formed simultaneously or in consecutive steps. For this purpose, the method involves preparing first a pre-mixture containing the individual starting materials and/or mixtures of several substances which are solid at ambient temperature and at a pressure of 1 bar, turning then this mixture into a granule with applied compression forces, before further possible processing or treatment. This pre-mixture is essentially anhydrous and a liquid forming additive, in the form of a polymer which has inflated in an essentially non aqueous solution, is used in the forming conditions, especially at ambient temperature and at a pressure of 1 bar. |
