Graft copolymer particles prepared by grafting a vinyl monomer onto rubber particles obtained by mixing (A) a silicone rubber latex with (B) an acrylic rubber later and/or a conjugated diene rubber latex at such a ratio as to give a silicone content of 1 to 90 wt.% based on the total amount of the rubber components and subjecting the mixed latex thus obtained to particle aggregation and size increase. The graft copolymer particles serve to modify thermoplastic resins. Thermoplastic resin compositions containing the graft copolymer particles are excellent in impact resistance, weathering resistance, processability, thermal discoloration resistance and appearance of moldings. |
