abstract | The increase of agriculture production while optimizing the existing resources is a concern of much interest for searchers in agricutural sciences since it is necessary to find products in appropriate processes in order to reach this goal. The present invention relates to the use of salicylates such as salicylic acid, acetylsalicylic acid, phenylacetylsalicylate, saligenine and salicine in order to increase plant bioproductivity, said products being used in adequate concentrations. The use and preparation of salicylates of this invention are simple and therefore useful for any agricultural producer since no complicated preparation techniques for expensive equipments are required. Such use of salicylate can be applied to any type of plants such as those which are used for human or animal feed, in sylviculture and forest tree and decoration plants for example. |
