abstract |
The present invention relates to a diet or foodstuff and a dietary supplement comprizing zinc at a concentration of above 28 mg/400 kcal and linoleic acid at a concentration of at least 4g/400 kcal or zinc at a concentration of 20 mg/400 kcal or above and linoleic acid at a concentration of 6 g/400 kcal or above. The diet/foodstuff and dietary supplement are useful in enhancing and/or improving the skin and coat condition of an animal. The present invention also relates to the use of the diet/foodstuff and dietary supplement in enhancing and/or improving the skin and coat composition of an animal and to processes for the preparation of the diet/foodstuff and dietary supplement. |
