abstract |
A process for manufacturing artificial marble having stripe patterns, comprising: injecting a liquid resin containing a heterogeneously dispersed coloring agent into a molding cell; forming more than one layer of a liquid resin of a different color on the liquid resin containing the heterogeneously dispersed coloring agent; moving a comb-shaped tool in the layered liquid resins with the teeth in contact with the bottom face of the molding cell; and subsequently setting the liquid resins. It is possible to simply produce artificial marble having stripe patterns, a natural straight grain and a delicate color that natural wood has, or an appearance of good texture and depth like natural marble. |
