abstract |
The invention relates to a method for processing mother liquors ejected from said method and remaining one bisphenol has been separated during the production of dihydroxydiarylalkanes (bisphenols). According to the inventive method, phenol is initially removed by means of distillation. The residue is subsequently split into two series connected reactive rectification columns, wherein the first scission is carried out in the presence of a basic catalyst, and the second scission in carried out in the presence of an acidic catalyst. |
