A lecithin containing composition comprising approximately 1 to about 80 % by weight lecithin, and approximately 20 to 99 % by weight of a softener. Over 75 % by weight of the softener comprises at least one hydrogenated fatty acid having a melting point greater than 75 °C. Chewing gums and methods for making and using the composition are also disclosed. |
