A wood-like molding comprising a polymer (A) composed mainly of a polymethacrylic ester, an inorganic filler (B), and cellulosic microparticles (C) [preferably cellulosic microparticles (D)] each containing an inorganic pigment biting into the surface thereof; and a process for preparing a wood-like molding which comprises molding a starting composition by cast molding. The wood-like resin molding is free from fuzzing, exhibits a homogeneous wood-like pattern with satisfactory wood texture, is free from changes in appearance, such as uneven color, for a long period of time, and does not give any burned mark at the time of molding. |
