Medical intravenous administration connectors include a first coupling member (112) having a female luer, a valve member having a substantially rigid stem (114) and a substantially resilient body (116) with a sealing surface. A second coupling member (118) has a fluid coupling extending from one end and an internal valve member support. A second embodiment of the invention includes a fluid pressure actuated valve (216) having a dome-like protrusion (242) on the resilient valve body. A third embodiment includes a pressure actuated valve (316) that is partially rigid and partially resilient. |
