abstract The invention relates to a novel bifunctional molecule comprising a first binding moiety which binds to a surface molecule on a target cell; and a second binding moiety which binds to a surface molecule on a viral vector. The bifunctional molecule targets the viral vector to the target cell with improved infectivity and selectivity. The molecule can be used, for example, in in vitro and in vivo gene delivery methods.
