titleOfInvention Fibroblast growth factor mutein compositions and methods of use therefor
abstract Isolated DNA molecules that encode fibroblast growth factor (FGF) mutein polypeptides and the encoded FGF muteins are provided. The FGF muteins exhibit reduced receptor binding activity, but retain the ability to bind to heparin. Methods for treating heparin-related disorders by administering a therapeutically effective amount of an FGF mutein are also provided.
