titleOfInvention Herbicide compositions
abstract Herbicide compositions for foliage application containing, as the active ingredients, 2-chloro-4-fluoro-5-(4-methyl-5-trifluoromethyl-3-pyridazinon-2-yl)phenyl C1-5 noncyclic hydrocarbyl ethers and a substance selected from the group consisting of: (RS)-2-(4-chloro-2-methylphenoxy)propionic acid, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, (4-chloro-2-methyl)phenoxyacetic acid, 2-[[[[(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-amino]carbonyl]amino]sulfonyl]-benzoate, 2-chloro-N-[[(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino]carbonyl]benzenesulfonamide, ethyl (R)-2-[4-(6-chloro-1,3-benzoxazol-2-yloxy)phenoxy]-propanoate, methyl (RS)-2-[4-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)phenoxy]propionate, 3,5-dibromo-4-hydroxybenzonitrile, 4-hydroxy-3,5-diiodobenzonitrile, 3-(4-isopropylphenyl)-N',N'-dimethylurea, N'-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)-N,N-dimethylurea and N-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-2-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-3-pyridinecarboxamide; and a herbicidal method by the foliage application of these compositions to weeds. By using the above compositions, weeds growing on crop land or non-crop land can be effectively exterminated. Moreover, the herbicidal effect thereof can be synergistically elevated compared with the case where each active ingredient is employed alone. Thus, these compositions can be applied in a low application dose and exhibit an enlarged herbicidal spectrum. When applied to wheat fields, in particular, weeds over a broad scope can be selectively eliminated thereby.
