Method for feeding boron compounds, fine particles of boron compounds, catalyst components for the polymerization of olefins comprising them, and processes for the production of the particles |
abstract |
A method for feeding boron compounds which comprises continuously feeding at least one compound selected from among those listed in the following groups (1) to (3) to a reactor in a state dispersed or slurried in a solvent; fine particles of at least one boron compound selected from among those listed in the groups (1) to (3), which have a maximum particle diameter of 50 νm or below; catalyst components for the polymerization of olefins comprising the particles; a process for the production of the fine particles which comprises dissolving at least one boron compound selected from among those listed in the groups (1) to (3) in an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent and precipitating the compound into an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent; and another process therefor which comprises grinding at least one boron compound selected therefrom into particles having a maximum particle diameter of 50 νm or below: (1) boron compounds of the general formula: BQ1Q2Q3, (2) boron compounds of the general formula: G?+(BQ1Q2Q3Q4)-¿, and (3) boron compounds of the general formula: (L-H)?+(BQ1Q2Q3Q4)-¿, wherein B is a trivalent boron atom; Q1 to Q4 are each independently halogeno, a hydrocarbon group, a halogenated hydrocarbon group, substituted silyl, alkoxy or disubstituted amino; G+ is an inorganic or organic cation; L is a neutral Lewis base; and (L-H)+ is a Brönsted acid. |
