abstract |
A process for encapsulating a solid detergent component using an oil-in-water emulsion and forming a polymer film at the oil/water interface by condensation polymerisation. TAED is the preferred detergent component and the microcapsules formed by the process may be used in liquid formulations such as isotropic or structured detergents which may contain hydrogen peroxide or a source of hydrogen peroxide. The coating improves the storage stability of the microcapsule. |
