The simultaneous use of a hydrophilic substance with an inorganic and/or organic antimicrobial agent remarkably enhances the antimicrobial activity inherent therein, so that a satisfactory antimicrobial activity can be attained even by the use of the agent in a lowered concentration. Further, a highly antimicrobial product can be produced at a relatively low cost by laminating an inorganic or organic substrate with the antimicrobial composition. |
