abstract A data processor incorporating a DRAM, which can be used in the architecture of a personal computer, amusement equipment, etc., for processing graphics at a high speed. When a frame buffer, command memory, and picture processor are incorporated in one chip so as to improve the drawing ability of a picture processor, the depth of memory addresses is increased by constituting the frame buffer and command memory of a plurality of similar memory modules and allocating the same row address to the memory modules. Therefore, the built-in frame buffer and built-in command memory virtually have large capacities, viewed from the picture processor.
