abstract | A reusable electrode device for iontophoresis, which prevents metal ions originated from an electrode from entering a human body, minimizes the generation of a gas which causes polarization, greatly increases a transmission current, and prevents damage to the skin which is ascribed to the variation of pH occurring when the device is used for a long period of time. This electrode device for iontophoresis comprises a packing member (1) having an edge portion (1a) of an opening and a chamber (4) to be packed on the inner side of the opening; an electrode terminal (2) provided in the chamber (4); non-adhesive gel (5) containing an electrolytic solvent, a depolarizer, a pH regulator and chemicals and packed in the chamber (4); an inactive electrode (3) covering a base portion of the electrode terminal (2); and a liner (7) bonded to an adhesive layer (6) laminated on the edge portion (1a) to cover the opening. |
