titleOfInvention Osteosynthetic mounting element
abstract An osteosynthetic mounting element comprises especially a pedicel screw (10) with a screwed section (12) and a fork-shaped head (13) and a channel-shaped passage (16) for the reception of a rod-shaped connecting element (17). A clamping ring (20) extending around the outer circumference of the screw head is pressed against the rod-shaped connecting element (17) by means of a screw cover (18) so that it is held clamped inside the passage (16). The circumferential edge (21) of the clamping ring (20) facing towards the rod-shaped connecting element (17) lies in a plane extending at an angle (angle α) to the longitudinal axis (11) of the pedicel screw (10) or the clamping ring (20).
