titleOfInvention Transparent aqueous solution of diclofenac sodium and medicinal compositions with the use of the same
abstract A transparent aqueous solution wherein diclofenac sodium is dissolved in a solvent mixture of a fatty acid dialkylol-amide with water; an anti-inflammatory analgetic composition excellent in percutaneous absorption and prepared by adding to the above transparent aqueous solution a higher unsaturated aliphatic alcohol; and a pressure-sensitive cataplasm prepared by adding to a cataplasm base the above transparent aqueous solution, polybutene and gelatin. The transparent aqueous solution of diclofenac sodium contains, in particular, diclofenac sodium, a fatty acid dialkylolamide and water at a ratio falling within a hexagonal region formed by linking the points A, B, C, D, E and F in the figure.
