titleOfInvention Cooling device adapted to be removably attached to a garment e.g. hat, shirt
abstract This invention relates to a cooling device for reducing a person's body heat (e.g. a golfer, a truck driver). The cooling device is able to be attached to a garment. The cooling device (200) comprises: a core material (208) capable of absorbing and holding a quantity of liquid (e.g. water), the core material being adapted to release the liquid through evaporation over a period of time, thus absorbing heat; a cover (202, 204) for the core material, the cover being adapted to permit evaporation of the liquid from the core material; attachment means (210) to permit the device to be removably attached to a garment (such as headwear, dress, shirt).
