titleOfInvention An arrangement for optical coupling of a light emitting element with a light receiving element
abstract An arrangement for optical coupling of a light-emitting element (1) with a light-receiving element (11) arranged next to it provides a coupling body (2) which contains a reflecting recess (8) which tapers inward from an outer surface (3). The light-emitting element (1) with its light emitting surface is located before one of the side walls (7) of the recess (8). The light-receiving element (11) is located before the other side wall (9) of the recess (8). The side walls (7, 9) are arranged with a slope ( alpha ) such that, after reflection from one side wall, the floor and the other side wall, the light reaches the light-receiving element (11).
