titleOfInvention Telephone handset especially for use in a vehicule
abstract The invention concerns a telephone handset especially for use in a vehicle having a wireless hand unit (3) (handy) and a socket part (1) into which it is inserted. The socket part (1) has preferably at least a function key (31a-c) as well as especially at least an indication element (33a-c). The function key or keys (31a-c) is, or are, so arranged and designed that they can be found and operated without eye-contact. The socket part (1) and the wireless hand unit (3) have special coupling parts (24a, 24b) of a coupling (23) for the signal transmission which match one another, are detachable and interlock automatically in one another. At least one of the coupling parts (24a), especially the one in the socket part (1), has a protection device against the penetration of liquid and/or foreign bodies on decoupling the wireless hand unit from the socket part. The wireless hand unit (3) is so built that either alone separated from the socket part (1) or together with it, it can access, in addition to pure communications functions, further services and messages both automatically in part and/or through the operator without problem and in a functionally safe way, especially in a "rough" environment.
