abstract A liquid deodorant composition comprising: a) from about 10 % to about 40 % by weight, of a polyhydric alcohol selected from propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, polypropylene glycols having three or more propylene monomer units, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, hexylene glycol, butylene glycol, and mixtures thereof; b) from about 10 % to about 70 % by weight, of C1-C4 monohydric alcohol; c) from about 0.1 % to about 4 % by weight, of zinc phenol sulphonate; and d) optionally, from about 0.1 % to about 10 % by weight, of at least one auxiliary emollient selected from volatile and non-volatile silicones and mixtures thereof. The liquid deodorant products are mild, stable and have excellent cosmetic and skin-feel attributes.
