abstract |
The invention relates to an adherence gene AlpB from Helicobacter pylori and the polypeptide coded therefrom. This gene was achieved by transposon TnMax9 insertion (mutagenesis) from the chromosome of H-pylori and is characterised by the cloning and sequencing of the downstream AlpA flanked region. These two adherence genes tend to be part of the same operon and to be transcribed by only one promoter. |
