abstract |
A process for treating a hydrogen sulphide-containing gas stream is provided. The process comprises bringing, in a reaction zone, the hydrogen sulphide-containing gas stream into contact with a precipitated iron oxide catalyst. Hydrogen sulphide in the gas stream is thereby converted to elemental sulphur. |
