abstract | The present invention concerns hydantoine derivatives of general formula (I) in which: R stands for cyano, C(=NH)-O-(C1-C6)-alkyl, C(=NH)-NH-X, CH2-NH-X, or NH-X1; X stands for hydrogen, (C¿1?-C6) alkyl, (C1-C6) alkylcarbonyl, (C1-C6)-alkoxycarbonyl, (C1-C18)-alkylcarbonyloxy-(C1-C6)-alkoxycarbonyl, optionally substituted (C6-C14)-arylcarbonyl, optionally substituted (C6-C14)-aryloxycarbonyl, (C6-C14)-aryl-(C1-C6)-alkoxycarbonyl which can also be substituted in the aryl group, (R?5O)¿2P(O), cyano, hydroxy, (C1-C6)-alkoxy, (C6-C14)-aryl-(C1-C6)-alkoxy which can also be substituted in the aryl group, or amino; X1 has one of the meanings of X or stands for R'-NH-C(=N-R'), R' and R' independently of one another having one of the meanings of X; R1 stands for (C¿1?-C8)-alkyl, C6-C14)-aryl-(C1-C8)-alkyl optionally substituted in the aryl group, or (C3-C8)-cycloalkyl; R?2¿ stands for hydrogen, (C¿1?-C8)-alkyl, optionally substituted (C6-C14)-aryl, (C6-C14)-aryl-(C1-C8)-alkyl optionally substituted in the aryl group or (C3-C8)-cycloalkyl; R?3¿ stands for hydrogen or CH¿2?-CO-OR?4; R4¿ stands for hydrogen, (C¿1?-C6)-alkyl, (C6-C14)-aryl-(C1-C6)-alkyl optionally substituted in the aryl group, or optionally substituted (C6-C14)-aryl; R?5¿ stands for hydrogen, (C¿1?-C8)-alkyl, optionally substituted (C6-C14)-aryl or (C6-C14)-aryl-(C1-C8)-alkyl which can also be substituted in the aryl group. The follwing other conditions also apply; if R?3¿ stands for hydrogen, R may not stand for CN, NH¿2? or CH2-NH2: if the compounds of general formula (I) are present in racemic form with respect to the asymmetric centre in the hydantoine ring and R?3¿ stands for methoxycarbonyl methyl, R1 for methyl and R2 for hydrogen or methyl, R may not stand for CN or C(=NH)-OC¿2?H5; and if the compounds of general formula (I) are present in racemic form with respect to asymmetric centre in the hydantoine ring and R?3¿ standssfor methoxycarbonyl methyl or hydroxycarbonyl methyl, R1 for methyl and R2 for hydrogen or methyl, R may not stand for NH¿2?, CH2-NH2, C(=NH)-NH2, tert-butyloxycarbonylaminomethyl or benzyloxycarbonylguanidino. The invention also concerns the salts of the said hydantoine derivatives. |
