titleOfInvention A method for cultivation of edible fungi
abstract A method for cultivation of edible fungi, said method comprising working of a substratum composed by cellulosic materials such as straw, waste wood or similar biological materials, manure from domestic animals, chalk and/or gypsum, as well as possible supplements of carbon hydrate, protein and/or fat, said substratum being subjected to thermal treatment, possibly in connection with a composting, and being after cooling spawned by mycelium, before the substrate directly, or after the mycelium has grown substantially throughout the entire substratum under possible addition of an energy enrichment, is made ready for fructification. As energy enrichment in at least one of the preparation stages calcium-saponified fatty substances are added to the substratum. This addition, which may be provided on basis of waste products, is particularly economical and contributes both to a higher yield and to a more stable composting/heat treatment when preparing the substratum.
