abstract |
A surgical stapler (1) has a handle (2) with an actuator (4) and a tubular shaft (6) secured to the handle (2). A connecting rod (8) that can be moved in the longitudinal direction by the actuator (4) and reset by a spring is arranged in the tubular shaft (6). A staple magazine (12) that receives several staples (10) is arranged in the tubular shaft (6) and closing means (14) for the staples (10) are provided at the distal end (16) of the tubular shaft (6). A distal head (17) of the tubular shaft (6) contains the staple magazine (12) and closing means (14). The distal head (17) is releasably coupled to the proximal part (20) of the tubular shaft (6). |
