titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for disposal of biological waste
abstract Method and apparatus for removing liquids from biological waste utilizing centrifugal force. Preferably, a rotatable foraminous drum (12) can be rotatably supported within an outer liquid-tight drum (11), and a disposable porous container (17) can be placed within the rotatable foraminous drum. Biological waste can be placed within the disposable porous container within the foraminous rotatable drum, and the rotatable foraminous drum can be rotated at a rate of rotation sufficient to transfer unabsorbed liquid from the biological waste through the disposable porous container and the foraminous drum and into the outer liquid-tight drum. The biological waste can be disposed of by removing the disposable porous container from the rotatable foraminous drum.
