abstract A postmenopausal hormonal treatment product comprises a number of spatially separated daily gestagen-containing hormone units that may be individually withdrawn from a packaging unit to be orally administered over a continuous period. The product is characterised in that the daily gestagen-containing hormone units only contain gestagen and in that the gestagen content of the daily hormone units varies from the first daily hormone unit to be administered to the last hormone unit to be administered. Also disclosed is a postmenopausal hormonal treatment process, in particular using the disclosed product, as well as a combined postmenopausal hormonal treatment process and product, the treatment being carried out by means of gestagens and oestrogens after the administration of gestagen only.
