abstract |
Binders that are particularly useful in coating media for scratch- and acid-resistant coatings, in particular for the automobile industry and for coating polyolefine substrates, are disclosed, as well as their preparation. These binders are produced by radical-initiated polymerisation of 99.5 to 5 % by weight of one or several (meth)acrylic monomers and if required one or several additional radically polymerisable monomers different from the first in the presence of 0.5 to 95 % by weight of one or several cyclo-olefine homopolymers, cyclo-olefine copolymers, peroxygenated cyclo-olefine homopolymers and/or peroxygenated cyclo-olefine copolymers free from olefinic double bonds. |
