abstract | Improved injection molded thin-wall corner parts are prepared using carbonate polymer blend compositions where an amount of a higher molecular weight branched carbonate polymer component (HMWB PC) is combined with a different second, lower molecular weight carbonate polymer component. An HMWB PC component is selected which is homogeneously dispersible in a blend with the second component. The carbonate polymer blends suitable for use according to the present invention have surprisingly improved combinations of physical properties and processability and provide improved injection molded parts. |
