abstract Cross-linkable and cross-linked compositions comprising a major amount of polyketone polymer and a minor amount of an iodide salt. Compositions containing a iodide salt which is an onium iodide salt of nitrogen, phosphorus, arsenic, or a combination thereof of which the cation coordination sphere is shielded by aromatic substituents, or an alkali metal iodide, show improved oxidative stability. Further, the invention relates to a process for preparing such compositions and to a process for cross-linking such compositions.
