titleOfInvention Novel 2-amino-1-phenylethanol compound, process for producing the same, and medicinal composition containing the same for regulating gastrointestinal tract movement
abstract A novel 2-amino-1-phenylethanol compound having the activity of regulating gastrointestinal tract movement and represented by general formula (I), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, a process for producing the same, and a medicinal composition containing the same, wherein X represents hydrogen, halogen or trifluoromethyl; Y and Z may be the same or different and each represents hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, lower alkoxy, methoxy having a linear or branched C1-C3 alkylene chain which may be substituted by lower alkoxycarbonyl, ethoxy which may be substituted at the 2-position, or a group represented by -OCH2COA; A represents lower alkyl, phenyl, cyclic amino or an amino group represented by -NVW, wherein V and W represent each independently hydrogen or lower alkyl; provided Y and Z may be adjacent to each other and combined together to represent -OC(BB)O-, wherein B represents carboxy or lower alkoxycarbonyl as a substituent.
