abstract Enzyme immunoassay method, method for enzyme immunoassaying an antigen by electrochemical detection, and assay kit used. The object of the invention is to develop assay methods, in which the detection sensitivity of the product formed during the enzymatic reaction is increased. The object is attained using a method consisting in reacting an enzyme (E) with a substrate (S), collecting the ionic or pro-ionic electroactive product obtained at the end of the enzymatic reaction on an electrode (3) with a polyionic compound (1) of opposite charge and measuring the signal produced by said electrode (3).
