abstract |
The proposal is for a process for cleaning a soot filter in the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine powered by diesel fuel via injection pumps (1) and the appropriate pressurised injection lines (11, 14), in which a liquid additive which promotes combustion to burn off soot by catalytic action is added proportionately to the rotation speed or load to the fuel, the air of combustion or the exhaust gas from a tank (3). Here, the additive is conveyed via the changing pressure in one or more injection lines via a supply line (42) with a non-return device (5). Devices for implementing such a process are also proposed. |
