abstract An ironing aid composition for use in the steam chamber of a steam iron comprises propylene glycol, glycerine and optionally a volatile fragrance. The composition can be used drop-wise in concentrated form or can be diluted with water. Use of said compositions improves the efficiency of said steam iron, thereby enhancing the iron's wrinkle-removing capability.
