Novel 3-pyridyl carbinols of formula (I) in which: Ar is possibly substituted aryl; and R stands for halogen-substituted cycloalkyl with 3 to 8 carbon atoms and 1 to 7 halogen atoms, in which each of these radicals may be substituted by alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or for halogen-substituted cycloalkenyl with 3 to 8 carbon atoms and 1 to 7 halogen atoms, in which each of these radicals may be substituted by alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and their acid-addition salts and metal salt complexes, a process for producing the novel substances and their use as fungicides. |
