Laminated lumber, method for producing laminated lumber, and laminated lumber producing device |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide laminated lumber that can be widely used as a building material by laminating and securing together a plurality of pieces of lumber such as ones from thinning and that can be produced at low costs by improving the productivity by shortening a duration required to cure laminated lumber, and a method for producing such laminated lumber. To this end, in laminated lumber according to the present invention, a laminated body is formed by softening a plurality of pieces of lumber by treating them with heat and pressure compressing them with an adhesive being interposed between the surfaces of those pieces of lumber, and then a treatment for fixing them to each other is imparted to the laminated body so formed via a heating device. A method of the present invention for producing laminated lumber comprises a first process where respective pieces of lumber are softened by heat treating, a second process where an adhesive is applied onto the surfaces of the respective pieces of lumber so softened, a third process where a laminated body of a predetermined shape is formed by pressure compressing the respective adhesive-applied pieces of lumber, and a fourth process where a fixing treatment is given to the laminated body via a heating device. According to the invention as described above, it is possible to realize laminated lumber that can create a free design using variations of grains and widely be used as a building material by laminating and fixing a plurality of pieces of lumber such as ones from thinning that are less usable and which can be produced at low costs by improving the productivity by shortening a duration required to cure laminated lumber, and a method for producing such laminated lumber. |
