The invention concerns nucleotide suquences coding for enzymes which exhibit an alanine racemase activity, plus methods of preparing alanine racemase which use these sequences. The invention also concerns methods of preparing cyclosporin and cyclosporin derivatives. The invention further relates to DNA fragments with part or all of the gene for glycerinaldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) from Tolypocladium niveum, its promotor and termination region, and the use thereof. Another aspect of the invention relates to vectors, and cells transformed by these vectors. |
