titleOfInvention PERNASAL PREPARATION COMPRISING threo-3-(3,4-DIHYDROXYPHENYL)SERINE
abstract A pernasal preparation is produced in liquid form (in an amount of 10 ml) by adding 200 mg of L-threo-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)serine, 200 mg of disodium glycyrrhetic acid 3-0-monohemiphthalate and 100 mg of sodium ascorbate to a tris hydrochloride solution to adjust the pH to 4.5. This preparation is lowly irritant for the nasal mucosa and suitable for administering a clinically effective amount of L-threo-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)serine through the nasal mucosa.
