abstract The invention concerns a long-life feedstuff for aquatic animals living in fresh or sea water, in particular fish, shrimps and invertebrates, the feedstuff having long-term stability in water, being insoluble in water and not adversely affecting the water chemistry. The feedstuff can also be used as weekend and holiday feed for warm-water and cold-water ornamental fish in fresh and salt water containing 1 to 50 % of agar-agar.
