Anionic surfactants with improved solubility are obtained by processing anionic surfactants selected from the group of alkylbenzenesulfonates, alkane sulfonates, olefin sulfonates, alkyl ether sulfonates, glycerine ether sulfonate, α-methyl ester sulfonates, alkylsulfonic acids, fatty alcohol sulfates, fatty alcohol ether sulfates, glycerine ether sulfates, hydroxy mixed ether sulfates, monoglyceride (ether) sulfates, fatty acid amide (ether) sulfates, sulfosuccinates, sulfosuccinamates, sulfotriglycerides, amide soaps, ether carboxylic acids, isethionates, sarcosinates, taurides, alkyl oligoglucoside sulfates and alkyl (ether) phosphates, together with a hydrophobic structure breaker and selected polymer stabilizers to form a powder using per se known methods, or by working them into lumps. The products show excellent cold-water solubility and can be used in preparing solid surface active agents. |
