abstract |
The present invention relates to a method and composition for the control of take-all disease of cereals especially wheat, barley, triticate and rye. The method and composition of the present invention involves the use of strains of Gaeumannomyces graminis var. graminis. The strains of the present invention are characterised in that they are capable of growth at 5 °C at a rate of at least 0.5 mm/day on 1/4 strength Potato Pextrose Agar and are tolerant to the fungicides triadimefon, triadimenol and flutriafol. |
