abstract |
A novel technique is disclosed for the prevention of false positive reactions in immunological testing which are caused by interference of C1 and C1q. The method is based on heating a sample of a body fluid at a temperature of 59-64 °C in the presence of a particular neutral salt. A method for screening for and inactivation of rheumatoid factor is also disclosed. |
