titleOfInvention | Method of geochemical prospecting |
abstract | A method of geochemical prospecting. Selected soil, sediment, or rock samples are obtained and contacted with a leach solution comprising water, glucose and glucose oxidase. The oxidase acts upon said glucose to produce gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide. The leach solution reacts with mineral elements and compounds in the soil samples to produce a leach reaction solution. The leach reaction solution is separated from the residue of the sample and analyzed to determine quantatively the mineral content thereof. |
