abstract |
A nickel electrode for alkali storage batteries. It is provided in a form of a high-energy-density paste containing nickel hydroxide powder which is controlled to be smaller than 0.1 ml/g as an active substance. The paste contains nickel hydroxide powder with group II element(s) and cobalt in the form of a solid solution. This prevents the electrode from swelling and helps increase charging efficiency at high temperature. |
