A biodegradable resin composition comprising a saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer and a starch, wherein the copolymer has an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mole %, a degree of saponification of the vinyl acetate units of 90 mole % or above, a melt flow index of 1 to 100 g/10 min at 210 C under a 2,160 g load, and an $g(h)60? to $g(h)5? ratio of 0.5 to 4, wherein $g(h)60? is the melt viscosity of the sample kept at 250 C for 60 min and $g(h)5? is the one at 250 C for 5 min. The layer of this composition can form a laminated structure with another material such as a photodegradable polymer. |
