abstract A demulsifying cleaning agent which can be used over a wide range of temperatures and which removes oils, fats and mineral impurities contains one or more nonionic tensides (NT) with a mean total HLB value (HLBG) greater than 12.0 to approximately 13.5 and one or more anionic tensides (AT) from the series of aliphatic or aromatic sulphonates. The nonionic tenside (NT) and the anionic tenside (AT) are present in a weight ratio V, where V = parts by weight NT/parts by weight AT (free acid form), which lies between approximately 2.9 and 16 if salts of aliphatic sulphonic acids are used and between 3.5 and 12.5 if salts of aromatic sulphonic acids are used.
