titleOfInvention | Organic glass for optical part |
abstract | An organic glass for optical parts, mainly comprising a copolymer of (a) diallyl diphenate and (b) a urethane acrylate produced by preparing a linear polyurethane hydroxylated at both terminals by the reaction of a diisocyanate component with a diol component and introducing vinyl groups into both the terminals of the polyurethane by the reaction with acrylic or methacrylic acid. It has a high refractive index and is excellent in various properties such as transmittance and impact resistance, so that it can be applied to optical parts to which only inorganic glass has been applicable. |
